Can I access the New York Times, San Diego Union-Tribune, or other newspapers?


Answer

Yes!  The Grossmont College Library has access to newspapers through several databases. 

Newspaper Databases

Access all the newspaper databases in the library by clicking Databases on the homepage, then filter by Database Type to only review Newspapers

Specific Newspapers

To find specific Newspapers or Journals, click Find Journals in OneSearch.  This will allow you to search specific periodicals that the Grossmont College Library has access to. 

 

New York Times

The New York Times is in a database called US Major Dailies.  To access the New York Times, start by clicking Databases on the library's homepage, and then find Newspapers- US Major Dailies.  If you only want to review the New York Times, make sure you select New York Times under the Included Databases section. 

 

San Diego Union Tribune

Students can access the current edition and archival copies of the San Diego Union Tribune through the library.  To access the San Diego Union Tribune, start by clicking Databases on the library's homepage, and then find World News Research Collection.  If you only want to review the San Diego Union Tribune, make sure you select San Diego Union Tribune under the Included Databases section.
